How to Request a Fraud Alert

There are several options when it comes to fraud alerts.

Initial Fraud Alert “1-Year Fraud Alert”

An Initial Fraud Alert or a “1-Year Fraud Alert” can be placed in your file at your request with proof of your identity. This alert will remain in your file for 1 year and automatically expires unless you remove it before the end of the term.

Extended Alert “7-Year Fraud Alert”

An Extended Fraud Alert or a “7-Year Fraud Alert” can be placed in your file at your request with proof of your identity. This alert will remain in your file for 7 years and automatically expires unless you remove it before the end of the term.

Active Duty Alert

An Active Duty Alert can be placed in your file at your request with proof of your identity. This alert will remain in your file for a minimum of 12 months and automatically expires unless you remove it before the end of the term.
